Calan, an international network of stores offering construction materials, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage product categories and tailor the portfolio for clients in Warsaw. You will negotiate with suppliers, source products, and support marketing across channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a Purchasing Department.
• Knowledge of construction materials assortment.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to plan own work independently and stay proactive.
• Knowledge of market trends.

Responsibilities

• Select and tailor the product portfolio to meet client expectations.
• Manage the assigned product category.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers; handle purchasing and marketing support across channels.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with suppliers and build relationships.
• Develop product development strategies for retail stores and e-commerce.
• Create pricing policies aligned with the company’s strategy.
• Analyze sales, monitor the market and competition.
• Collaborate with Store Department Managers.
• Coordinate the work of an Assistant/Specialist.
