Uber is seeking a Lead of Cash Operations to join the Global Payment Operations team in Kraków. You will define and execute the cash payments strategy, focusing on collections methods and UX improvements across regions.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives with senior leaders. English proficiency is essential, with extra languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Stakeholder management to communicate strategies to senior leaders within multiple teams.
• Strong business acumen within the Payments and e‑commerce environment.
• Problem solving - tackle issues impacting people, processes and infrastructures using data.
• Root cause analysis and cross-functional task delegation desirable.
• Data-driven decisions with quantitative analysis required.
• Storytelling: translate data insights into action for business impact.
• 7+ years of work experience in strategy, operations, analytics, or related roles.
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment while driving analysis to conclusions.
• Excellent communication to high leadership and partners (technical and non‑technical).
• Exceptional English; additional languages preferred.
• Experience creating and optimizing processes.

Responsibilities

• Build the strategy to make cash payments a sustainable and frictionless method; leverage data to identify pain points and design cross‑functional initiatives.
• Build and enhance reporting tools to track key results; produce ad hoc analyses on cash payments and collaborate to optimize operations.
• Map existing processes and propose improvements; lead exploration and implementation of new solutions.
• Identify recurrent pain points and build business cases for product improvements.
• Take ownership of Cash payment operations and remove roadblocks to improve quality and value for users.
