EY Global Delivery Services Poland is seeking a Capital Markets Business Analyst with German to join our growing Financial Services Consulting practice in Katowice. You will support large-scale transformation programs across Europe and the USA, working with front-to-back capital markets processes and data initiatives.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English proficiency, and German (B2) collaboration. It offers a hybrid work setup with offices in Katowice and remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets.
• Strong understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Securities Services, Custody, Clearing, Settlement, or Trade Lifecycle Management.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Signavio, or similar.
• Professional working proficiency in English; German language skills (B2) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders, tech teams, and vendors.
• Translate business needs into user stories, flows, and specifications.
• Analyze and improve Front/Middle/Back Office business processes.
• Support large transformation programs including platform modernization and regulatory change.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and project managers throughout the lifecycle.
• Support data analysis, data mapping, and system integration activities.
• Assist with UAT, defect management, and release readiness.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide SME in capital markets processes.
