ALTEN Polska is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead CAPEX procurement for investment and manufacturing projects in Poland. You will develop strategies, manage global supplier relationships, and collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Production, and Finance teams to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety targets.

The role requires 6-8 years in strategic procurement within industrial environments, with strong negotiation and budget management skills.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or CAPEX procurement in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience in an international manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing strategy management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for assigned CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) categories.
• Manage relationships with global suppliers and develop a preferred supplier base.
• Lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities for investment and industrial projects.
• Participate in projects and ensure achievement of project objectives related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance teams.
• Negotiate commercial, technical, and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Manage the CAPEX budget assigned to projects, including cost control and investment spending monitoring.
• Oversee sourcing activities in compliance with project requirements and company procurement policies.
• Manage supplier performance and support cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the modernization, upgrade, and development of existing manufacturing plants.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and scope of work between project teams and local MRO Plant Buyers.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures, health & safety requirements, and environmental standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery execution in terms of quality, cost, timing, and business requirements.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in Strategic Procurement, CAPEX Procurement, or an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience working within an international manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing strategy management.
• Proven experience in conducting commercial and technical negotiations.
• Good understanding of finance, budget management, and cash flow principles.
• Knowledge of logistics processes, including Incoterms and consignment models.
• Fluent Polish and English language skills.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a project-driven environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Results-oriented mindset with a high level of accountability and autonomy.

Nice to Have

• Experience in purchasing machinery, production lines, automation equipment, or industrial assets.
• Previous experience as an Industrial Engineer or within industrial investment projects.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and manufacturing plant start-up, expansion, or modernization processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale CAPEX projects within a production environment.
