Job summary

Templeton & Partners - Innovative & Inclusive Hiring Solutions seeks a Capability Lead / Operational Change Lead to drive a large-scale transformation and capability-building programme in Warsaw. The role blends operational excellence with change management and PMO coordination in a hybrid Poland setting.

You will coordinate multiple workstreams, develop SOPs, and oversee knowledge transfer while engaging diverse stakeholders to ensure adoption and maturity of new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Exposure to PMO activities, governance, and performance tracking.
• Experience developing SOPs and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, transition and maturation of a shared services hub or centre of excellence.
• Conduct capability assessments and skill-gap analyses to identify opportunities.
• Develop and support communications to drive engagement and adoption.
• Track knowledge transfer activities and ensure effective transfer.
• Ensure smooth transitions between local teams and hub planning teams.
• Review, improve and maintain SOPs.
• Assess readiness and capability of receiving teams for transitions.
• Define and monitor adoption, capability and performance metrics.
• Identify improvement opportunities and advance operational maturity.
• Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders with limited PMO support.
• Support governance, reporting and programme coordination as needed.

Capability Lead / Operational Change Lead

(This position has a strong operational focus, complemented by elements of change management, governance, communications, and PMO coordination).

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)

Contract Type: 6 months B2B Contract ( with possibility to extend)

We are seeking an experienced Capability Lead / Operational Change Lead to support a large-scale transformation and capability-building programme. This role is ideal for someone who combines operational excellence, change management expertise, and capability development experience, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the setup, transition, and ongoing maturity of a shared services hub or centre of excellence.
• Conduct capability assessments and skill-gap analyses to identify development opportunities.
• Develop and support communications that drive engagement and adoption across stakeholders.
• Track, monitor, and assure effective knowledge transfer activities.
• Ensure smooth transitions between local business teams and hub-based planning teams.
• Review, improve, and maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assess the readiness and capability of receiving teams to ensure successful transitions.
• Define and monitor adoption, capability, and performance metrics.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support the progressive maturity of operational capabilities.
• Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, often operating without dedicated PMO support.
• Support governance, reporting, and programme coordination activities where required.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience supporting or leading a hub setup, transition, capability-building, or shared services transformation programme.
• Strong background in operational change, capability development, organisational readiness, or transition management.
• Experience conducting capability assessments, knowledge transfer programmes, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work across communications, governance, stakeholder management, and operational delivery.
• Strong coordination and influencing skills with experience working across diverse business functions.
• Experience in environments undergoing significant operational transformation.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), or Supply Chain operations.
• Previous involvement in planning function transitions to a shared services or hub model.
• Exposure to PMO activities, programme governance, and performance tracking.
• Experience developing and improving SOPs, training materials, and operational frameworks.
