Job summary

ALTEN Polska in Katowice is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain low-level software for hardware platforms. You will work closely with international teams on global projects and contribute to innovative industrial automation solutions.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, embedded systems experience, and English at least B2 level. The position offers a hybrid work model in Katowice and long-term collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, particularly C++.
• Hands-on experience working close to hardware and with hardware-software integration.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems development and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the industrial automation domain.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with communication protocols and control systems.
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
