Job summary

Boeing Poland Software Engineering develops and produces avionics and electronics systems designed for aircraft and other platforms. The team works on navigation, flight controls, information systems, and core avionics functions, including urban air mobility and next-generation aircraft markets.

The C++/Linux Software Engineer role (Associate or Experienced) joins a high-performing Software Engineering team supporting multiple product lines, with hybrid work in Poland (Gdańsk, Rzeszów or Warsaw).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern C++.
• Proven practical knowledge of Linux OS.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing modern computer programming techniques, tools, languages and agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems.
• Performing engineering activities including architecture, requirements, development, integration and testing.
• Proactively contributing to project execution plan to set and effectively achieve operational goals.
• Project estimation and planning.
• Influencing, innovating and continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality, safety and reliability of products and services provided by Boeing.
• Collaborating proactively with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations.
• Cultivating a positive staff culture, team motivation.
