Job summary

Boeing Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking an Experienced Software Verification Engineer in Gdańsk, Poland, to join the AvionX Poland team.

You will define verification strategies, design automated UI and end-to-end tests with Selenium and Python, and collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA to deliver high-quality avionics software. The role involves unit/integration testing, performance verification, and mentoring other engineers, with hybrid work and local compensation details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall verification strategy for the project, including scope, test levels, traceability, entry/exit criteria, and risk-based priorities.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for UI and end-to-end workflows using Selenium and Python.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability across frontend and backend.
• Design and run performance- and reliability-focused verification tests.
• Investigate, reproduce, and triage defects with clear reports and logs.
• Perform thorough code reviews and mentor other engineers on best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Use Git, CI/CD, and standard branching (MR workflows); work in Docker-based environments and coordinate with OS/DevOps teams.
• Stay current with web standards and platform features; contribute to estimation and sprint planning.
