Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Poland (Łódź) is hiring a Layer 1 developer to join the SIMS team and help prepare the UE Simulator for 6G. You will contribute to Layer 1 development and support Ericsson internal users with a pivotal product for 6G.

The role works in a hybrid model with at least 3 days in the office. You will explore AI-first engineering, Specification-Driven Development and multithreaded software for high‑performance simulations, collaborating with international colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS/Telecom or related field.
• Basic embedded programming knowledge.
• Proficient in C/C++ and DPDK.
• Knowledge of multithreading and L1/L2 protocols.
• Fluent in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an agile team contributing to Layer 1 development of a UE Simulator.
• Support Ericsson internal users with a key product for 6G.
• Drive innovation and turn new insights into reality.
• Work across analysis, system design, pre-development and implementation in small increments.
• Leverage AI and Specification-Driven Development to accelerate development.
