Job summary

Ericsson Krakow is seeking an engaged Layer 1 Developer to join our team in Poland, focusing on preparing the UE Simulator for 6G needs. You will contribute to the core team for future development, shaping Layer 1 functionality, and supporting internal users with a pivotal product.

The role requires strong software engineering in C or Golang (Python/Java a plus), knowledge of LTE/5G Layer 1, RF concepts, and embedded systems. We offer a hybrid workplace with at least three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Must have: C or Golang; nice to have: Python and Java.
• Familiarity with LTE/5G standards and Layer 1 specifications.
• Knowledge of RF propagation, modulation schemes and signal processing.
• Embedded systems understanding and how software interacts with hardware.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an agile team that contributes to Layer 1 development of a UE Simulator.
• Work on an exciting technical area, supporting Ericsson internal users with a 6G product.
• Drive innovation and turn new insights into reality.
