Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a motivated Layer 1 developer in Łódź, Poland to join the SIMS unit and help shape the UE Simulator for 6G. You will work in an agile team across analysis, design, pre-development and implementation in small steps with quick feedback.

The ideal candidate has a MSc or BSc in telecom, CS, or software engineering, knowledge of C/C++, multithreading, and an interest in AI-driven development and Specification-Driven Development in a modern engineering context.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Telecommunications, CS, or Software Engineering.
• Experience with embedded programming in telecom or similar.
• Strong software engineering skills and high-quality C/C++ code.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an agile team contributing to Layer 1 UE Simulator development.
• Work across analysis, design, pre-development and implementation in small increments with fast feedback loops.
• Leverage AI-driven development and Specification-Driven Development to accelerate UE Simulator development.
• Collaborate with internal users and cross-functional teams.
