Hybrid. The Buyer, IBP is responsible for executing procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials, services, and products while supporting quality, supplier performance, and operational efficiency. The role works closely with planning, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure business continuity.
What You Will Do
- Procurement Execution
- Create and manage purchase orders in line with demand and supply plans
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production / customer requirements
- Monitor order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking
- Supplier Management
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and performance
- Track supplier KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead time adherence, and quality
- Resolve supply issues, delays, and escalations proactively
- Inventory & Planning Alignment
- Collaborate with commercial and operations team to align procurement plans
- Monitor inventory health and Purchase order aging to avoid excess and shortages
- Support inventory optimization and working capital targets
- Data & Process Management
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and controls
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
What You Will Need
- Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Planning.
- English language proficiency.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in supplier relationship management.
- Preferred Knowledge of Power BI.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices).
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and cost‑reduction methodologies.
Poland Pay Ranges: Poland: zł101.300 - zł169.000 PLN Annual
Travel Percentage: 20%
Work Flexibility
- Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace.
- Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
- Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
- Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
