Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Poland is seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing, optimize supplier relationships, and drive cost savings through negotiations and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Director, Sourcing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality and sustainability, and apply lean or Six Sigma concepts with international suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in strategic sourcing or commodity management; total 10 years in purchasing, planning, or manufacturing roles.
  • Demonstrated contract negotiation and supplier relationship management experience.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Preferred: experience in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, pharmaceuticals).
  • Knowledge of ISO13485, FDA QSR, or similar quality standards.
  • Lean or Six Sigma methodologies familiarity.
  • International sourcing experience with intercultural competencies.

  • Drive ethical and sustainable sourcing practices across the supplier base.

Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite Join our team as an Associate Sourcing Manager, where you will lead strategic sourcing activities, optimize supplier relationships, and drive cost savings. Reporting to the Director, Sourcing this role focuses on achieving business goals through supplier management, contract negotiation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, sustainability, and value in every project.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve optimal quality, service, and cost.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, including supply and quality agreements, to achieve favorable terms and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct supplier and market analysis to identify opportunities for consolidation, cost reduction, and process improvements.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives, including PRoduct Transfers.
  • Monitor supplier performance through audits, site visits, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Drive ethical and sustainable sourcing practices across the supplier base.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management, with a total of 10 years in purchasing, planning, or manufacturing roles.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

Poland Pay Ranges

Poland, Skawina: 158.300 - 263.700 PLN annual gross

The compensation information posted for this role may be presented as a salary range or a fixed amount depending on the role. Travel Percentage: 20%

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field‑based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field‑based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co‑located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
