Job summary

Stryker is seeking a driven Inventory Planning Specialist to optimize indirect materials and ensure material availability for production. You will manage SAP purchase requisitions, monitor shipments, and resolve supply issues across a cross-functional team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years in supply chain or planning, with fluency in Polish and English and strong Excel/ERP capabilities. Travel up to 10% may apply.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control indirect materials and consumables for assigned product portfolios to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor deliveries and in-transit shipments, resolving supply issues to prevent shortages affecting production.
  • Confirm invoices against purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to support on-time receipt of materials.
  • Analyze inventory performance and set optimal reorder points, min/max stock, and replenishment parameters within ERP.
  • Maintain master data accuracy and support ERP enhancements to improve planning efficiency.
  • Generate MRP-based supply plans and collaborate with buyers and schedulers to finalize execution.
  • Prepare inventory projections, manage excess/obsolete inventory, track KPIs, and identify process-improvement opportunities.

What You Will Do
  • Plan and control indirect materials and consumable parts for assigned product portfolios to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor material deliveries and in-transit shipments, resolving supply issues to prevent shortages impacting production or maintenance activities.
  • Confirm invoices against purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to support on-time receipt of materials.
  • Analyze inventory performance and implement optimal reorder points, minimum and maximum stock levels, and replenishment parameters within the ERP system.
  • Maintain master data accuracy and support ERP system enhancements that improve planning efficiency and supply chain performance.
  • Generate material requirements planning (MRP)-based supply plans and collaborate with buyers and operational schedulers to finalize execution plans.
  • Prepare inventory projections, manage excess and obsolete inventory, track key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Materials Planning, Procurement, or a related function.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in Polish.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated manufacturing industry, including knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • German language skills at A2 level or higher.
Salary & Compensation

Poland Pay Ranges: Poland, Skawina: zł112.500 - zł187.400 PLN Annual

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for incentive compensation (such as bonus and/or commissions where applicable), along with Stryker’s comprehensive benefits package.

Travel Expectations

Travel Percentage: 10%
