Job summary

UBS is seeking a proactive professional to join the Investments Real Asset Business Management team. You will deliver business-support to front-office teams, coordinate strategic initiatives, and help manage risk and compliance across global operations, with a focus on Switzerland and key markets.

You will collaborate with multiple functions, manage projects, and drive improvements in workflows using analytical thinking and strong communication with English and German language proficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree is required.
• Knowledge of Asset Management, real assets is a strong plus and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
• Project management, analytical and technical skills including MS Office.
• Fluent English and German, strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day business support to Investments Real Asset business, working with front-office and business managers to manage the business and address issues.
• Support an effective, risk-controlled and regulatory compliant operating environment for the Investments function.
• Provide project management and coordination of strategic, change and technology initiatives.
• Support activities related to Investment Guidelines, ERMS, and Operational Risk controls.
• Coordinate semi-annual control assessments to evidence operating effectiveness of controls.

We are looking for someone like that who can provide business-related services as part of our Investments Real Asset Business Management team.

To strengthen our global team, we are looking for someone like you to:

• provide day to day business support to the Asset Management Investments Real Asset business working directly with the front office teams and other business managers to help manage the business and address critical issues;


• support an effective, risk-controlled and regulatory compliant operating environment for the Investments function;


• provide project management and coordination of strategic, change and technology initiatives;


• support activities associated with Investment Guidelines, Error & Event Management and Operational Risk (ERMS);


• enable the Investments function to evidence the operating effectiveness and sustainability of controls and supervision activities (coordination of semi-annual control assessments).

The team

You will be part of the Investments Business Management team within our Asset Management organization supporting the Real Asset business globally, with a strong focus on our key market Switzerland.

This team provides hands‑on problem solving with analytical and strategic business support across various functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while driving key initiatives forward and managing a broad portfolio of tasks.

Your Skills And Experience

• university degree;


• understanding of the Asset Management industry (real asset world as a strong plus) with a strong willingness to learn;


• demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks / projects concurrently;


• project management, analytical and technical skills, in particular full MS office suite;


• fluent knowledge of English and German, excellent in both written and oral communication skills;


• team oriented, flexible working style, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;


• excellent problem-solving skills with focus on identifying root causes and areas for process improvement;


• a problem solver and multi-tasker who can challenge the status quo;


• someone with superior work ethic, and willing to work in a high demand environment;


• able to work with a variety of individuals both at multiple levels within the organization as well as globally;
