Your role

Are you passionate about financial markets and want to help interpret market and competitor intelligence into actionable insights to drive sales activities? Do you enjoy working with data but also interacting with large number of stakeholders and discussing the outputs of your analyses?

We are looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst who can:

• integrate and perform analysis on a broad range of external and internal asset management data
• interpret results of the analyses, derive insights, participate in discussions and recommend actions
• be confident in providing informed views/comments to our salesforce
• handle regular as well as ad-hoc requests and reporting related to our market, product and competitor data
• collaborate and work closely with various stakeholders across UBS Asset Management to support and align our sales activities with product demand

Your team

You will be working in the Sales Offering & Market Intelligence (SOMI) team within the Sales Management function of UBS Asset Management. We are the knowledge center for market, competitor and peer ranking data and provide intelligence primarily to our sales teams. We collaborate with a broad range of other teams across distribution, product and investment areas of UBS Asset Management. Our main goal is to help drive business by empowering sales and product teams through better market and product intelligence.

Your expertise

We are looking for someone with:

• a strong academic background with a degree in economics, finance, data science, or similar field
• at least 3 years' relevant experience and an interest in asset management
• the ability to transform data into meaningful insights
• strong presentation and communication skills to share the outputs of your analyses with a broad audience
• ability to work independently, under pressure, against tight deadlines and to quickly adjust to changes in priorities
• good knowledge of Morningstar or other market data (e.g. eVestment, Broadridge) is a plus
• proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• fluency in English
• you are curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
