GrainODM is an AI-powered system automating grain quality control in elevators, port terminals and production facilities. We replace a 30-minute manual inspection with an automated analysis in seconds — cutting errors, processing time and client–farmer disputes. We have the customer success stories to prove it, and AI Innovation of the Year 2025 award.
We're expanding into Poland. There's a live customer in production, active pilots running, and a marketing engine generating inbound. What there isn't yet is someone on the ground. That's this role: you own the Polish market end to end — first connection, to signed contract, to expanded account — with the ambition of making GrainODM the standard in every grain lab.
This is a field role. You'll spend 5–10 days a month at customer sites across Poland: elevators, mills, port terminals and laboratories, demonstrating the device in person and running evaluations on the customer's floor. Deals in this market are won in the building, not on a call.
What you’ll drive
Direction:
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Work closely with our product and engineering teams—your direct feedback from the field will directly shape what we build next.
- Partner with marketing to ensure our go-to-market messaging and lead generation efforts are fully aligned.
Execution:
- Own the full sales cycle and build a healthy pipeline: from cold outreach and discovery calls to running demos, closing deals, and expanding accounts.
- Structure deals and pricing with a clear focus on value-based selling.
- Nurture existing relationships, creating feedback loops that make our product better every day.
- Represent GrainODM at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
What you’ll bring
- An entrepreneurial mindset (most important to us). You're a self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions. You experiment, learn, and take full ownership of your outcomes.
- Relevant experience: 3+ years in B2B business development or sales — ideally industrial equipment, laboratory instrumentation, agritech or technical products in the Polish market.
- Full-cycle track record: proven success from cold outreach through close and account expansion.
- Selling new technology: you've introduced something genuinely new to a conservative market, and stayed confident and resilient while buyers made up their minds.
- Winning contested accounts: at some large accounts, quality inspection is outsourced to third-party providers whose business our product changes. Those accounts are won through alliance building and multi-party collaboration. Experience navigating that kind of account is what sets the strongest candidates apart.
- Translating tech to value: you take complex AI capability and turn it into a simple business case.
- Communication: excellent verbal and written Polish and English. Other languages are a plus.
- On the road: comfortable being in the field 5–10 days a month. Valid category B driving licence.
- Hands-on: comfortable handling and demonstrating physical equipment in a working laboratory or production environment.
Why you should join us
- Real ownership — you own the market, not a slice of someone else's plan. You're our first commercial hire in Poland, with the path to lead the local commercial team as it grows.
- Small team, big impact — every conversation you have can influence the product and the company.
- Interesting problems — you'll sell a solution to a hard, tangible problem, with data that proves it works.
- Culture — smart, humble, get-things-done people. We foster close collaboration across marketing, sales, product engineering.
- Autonomy that means something — you run your own calendar and your own territory, with the expectation that most of it is spent in front of customers.
- Compensation — PLN 14,200–19,400 gross per month depending on skills and experience, plus sales commission (with a guaranteed ramp for your first six months - this is a considered, multi-month sale and you shouldn't be penalised for that while you build the pipeline), plus an annual performance bonus tied to results.
So, are you ready to build the commercial engine of an AI-first company?
