We are currently looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of Business Controller.

Location: Warsaw

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of retail business strategy, having a direct influence on how the entire network and individual stores operate.
• Participate in the creation and analysis of economic and operational models that help company better understand store performance.
• Collaborate with business teams to recommend and implement solutions that improve efficiency and profitability.
• Conduct ongoing performance analysis, prepare forecasts, and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Contribute to both short-term and long-term business planning.
• Act as a true business partner for store directors and managers - your insights and recommendations will play a key role in strategic discussions.
• Develop and automate reporting tools in cooperation with our IT team and headquarter.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar controlling role, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of the retail industry and its operational dynamics.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) and ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA).
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills (pivot tables and formulas are second nature to you).
• Goal-oriented mindset and ability to execute tasks independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude toward knowledge sharing.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key insights quickly.
• Very good command of English (French will be an asset).
