Job summary

ZF Group in Poland is seeking a Finance Business Partner - Financial Controller to drive financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis. You will lead budgeting and rolling forecasts, deliver monthly reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic decisions in a data-driven environment.

The role includes coordinating cost control, ensuring data integrity in SAP BW and FACT, and contributing to strategic planning with commercial insights.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Approx. 5 years in controlling or financial area within a complex organization.
• Ability to work with large datasets and present insights clearly.
• Experience with SAP, Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Planning process across the domain with inputs for costs and investments.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and support business steering with drivers.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews with risk and variance analysis.
• Contribute to long-term financial scenarios during Strategic Planning.
• Ensure data accuracy in reporting systems (FACT, SAP BW, ZP1) and governance.
• Oversee cost controlling, allocation methodologies, and transparency initiatives.

• Lead the Operational Planning process across the domain, coordinating inputs for cost, workforce, income and investments, and ensuring alignment with business targets;
• Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts, integrating key financial and operational drivers to support business steering;
• Deliver monthly performance reviews, including risk identification, variance analysis and commentary on key metrics in front of senior management;
• Contribute to the Strategic Planning cycle by preparing long-term financial scenarios;
• Ensure structural accuracy and data consistency in reporting systems (e.g., FACT, SAP BW, ZP1), acting as a key contact for system governance;
• Oversee cost controlling, cost allocation methodologies and cost transparency initiatives;
• Act as a trusted finance business partner, work closely with stakeholders to support strategic and operational decisions;
• Participation in projects (from reviewing projects feasibility through financial impact analysis and accounting treatment recommendations).

Your Profile as a Finance Business Partner - Financial Controller (m/f/d):

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Informatics (or in a related field);
• Approx. 5 years in a controlling or financial area within a complex organizational structure;
• Ability to work with large datasets, diligence and accuracy;
• Ability to interpret financial data, generate meaningful insights, and present findings in a clear and structured way to both financial and non-financial stakeholders;
• Ability to understand the broader business context and contribute to strategic discussions with a commercial mindset;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently across functions and levels;
• Experience with SAP, Excel and Power Point (Optional: Knowledge of PowerBI);
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English - both written and spoken.
