The candidate will manage cost controls, financial scenarios and governance across systems like SAP BW and FACT, delivering timely reviews to senior management.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Informatics or related field.
• Approximately 5 years in a controlling or financial area within a complex organization.
• Ability to work with large datasets with diligence and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret financial data and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Understanding of broader business context and strategic discussions with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage across functions and levels.
• Experience with SAP, Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Planning process across the domain with inputs for cost, workforce, income and investments.
• Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts to support business steering.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews with risk identification and variance analysis.
• Contribute to Strategic Planning with long-term financial scenarios.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reporting systems (e.g., FACT, SAP BW, ZP1).
• Oversee cost controlling, allocation methodologies, and transparency initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Participate in projects from feasibility reviews to financial impact analysis.

• Deliver monthly performance reviews, including risk identification, variance analysis and commentary on key metrics in front of senior management;
• Contribute to the Strategic Planning cycle by preparing long-term financial scenarios;
• Ensure structural accuracy and data consistency in reporting systems (e.g., FACT, SAP BW, ZP1), acting as a key contact for system governance;
• Oversee cost controlling, cost allocation methodologies and cost transparency initiatives;
• Act as a trusted finance business partner, work closely with stakeholders to support strategic and operational decisions;
• Participation in projects (from reviewing projects feasibility through financial impact analysis and accounting treatment recommendations).

Your Profile as a Finance Business Partner - Financial Controller (m/f/d):

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Informatics (or in a related field);
• Approx. 5 years in a controlling or financial area within a complex organizational structure;
• Ability to work with large datasets, diligence and accuracy;
• Ability to interpret financial data, generate meaningful insights, and present findings in a clear and structured way to both financial and non-financial stakeholders;
• Ability to understand the broader business context and contribute to strategic discussions with a commercial mindset;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently across functions and levels;
• Experience with SAP, Excel and Power Point (Optional: Knowledge of PowerBI);
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English - both written and spoken.
