Position Summary
The Senior Business Analyst role focuses on leading complex problem-solving and transformation initiatives within Identity and Access Management (IAM), especially around Privileged Identity Governance and Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP). The position requires extensive experience and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to improve security, compliance, and automation in privileged identity management.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include problem-solving, root cause analysis, privileged identity governance, process re-engineering, audit remediation, and future-state operating model design.
- Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: The role leads investigations into complex IAM and governance issues, performs root cause analyses, identifies systemic problems, and drives resolution across stakeholders.
- Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Tasks include gathering and documenting business and technology requirements, facilitating workshops, and producing key documents such as BRDs, functional requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Privileged Identity Governance: The analyst manages privileged identities by defining ownership models, supporting discovery and remediationprograms, and driving initiatives to reduce unmanaged privileged accounts.
- Human & Non-Human Identity Management: Governance models are analyzed for various identity types including human privileged, service accounts, applicationidentities, and secrets, supporting lifecycle and compliance activities.
- Current-State Assessment & Future-State Design: The role assesses existing IAM processes, identifies gaps, and designs future-state operating models aligned with security and business goals, focusing on automation and Zero Standing Privilege principles.
- Process Automation & Continuous Improvement: The analyst identifies automation opportunities, collaborates with engineering teams, defines automation requirements, and drives operational excellence in IAM processes.
- Data, Log & Behaviour Analysis: Responsibilities include analyzing diverse logs and audit data to detect anomalies, risks, and governance issues, supporting audit investigations and remediation.
- Qualifications & Technologies: The role requires over 10 years of business analysis and IAM experience, including privileged identity governance, with knowledge of technologies like CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS IAM, SailPoint, and Splunk.
Experience
- 10+ years of dedicated OCM experience, with a track record of leading the change management workstream for full-lifecycle ERP or SAP transformations — from strategy design through implementation, go-live, and post-implementation review.
- Prior experience spanning executive visioning, leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, organization and role design, transition management, communications, end-user enablement, and knowledge transfer.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a member of (or interface directly with) PMO leadership, Steering Committees, and C-level executives.
- Proven experience managing phased or multi-wave SAP deployments across distinct business units, including cutover and hypercare, as well as big-bang approaches.
- Experience delivering change programs in matrixed, complex, and global organizations.
- Outstanding consulting and analytical skills; minimum 8 years' internal or external business consulting experience, including team leadership.
