Job summary

Hitachi Digital is seeking an IAM Specialist to join the Global Information Security team in Poland. You will ensure the right people have access to the right resources across Okta, Identity Governance and Auth0, helping mature the end-to-end IAM program.

You will build integrations, automation and workflows with Node.js, Python and PowerShell, and contribute to governance processes, certifications and lifecycle automation in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OIDC/OAuth and SAML authentication mechanisms and related security concepts.
• Experience integrating applications with Okta and Auth0 for SSO, provisioning and governance.
• Hands-on development in Node.js, JavaScript, Python and PowerShell with production-grade automation.
• Comfort with Terraform, CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Knowledge of Okta Identity Governance including access certifications and entitlement management.
• Familiarity with Okta/Auth0 public APIs and development SDKs.
• Experience in large enterprise IAM environments and scripting against public APIs.

• Develop custom rules and actions within Auth0 to interact with external platforms.
• Write custom Node.js functions and Express apps to extend IAM capabilities.

• Build PowerShell and Python scripts to automate reporting and operational tasks.
• Manage application access policies and authorization server policies across environments.
• Develop integrations with Workday, Active Directory, Azure and Salesforce.

The team and the opportunity

You will join the Hitachi Digital Global Information Security team, a group dedicated to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise data, systems and information. Our mission is to keep corporate systems secure and help ensure that the products we deliver are free of security flaws and vulnerabilities.

We are looking for an IAM Specialist whose mission is simple: ensure the right people have access to the right resources at the right time, securely. You will join a team of IAM developers and engineers and report into the Identity and Access Management security leadership. Working across both Workforce and Consumer Identity platforms, you will help mature the end-to-end IAM program across Okta, Identity Governance and Auth0 environments.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, technically versatile role focused on developing, configuring and maintaining IAM platforms across internal and external identity ecosystems. You will build automation, custom integrations and platform enhancements, with an automation-first mindset.

What You Bring To The Team

• Strong understanding of OIDC/OAuth and SAML authentication mechanisms and protocols, plus related security concepts such as MFA, including how they are used with Okta, Auth0 and other IdPs and how to troubleshoot issues in this area.
• Strong experience integrating applications with both Okta and Auth0 for SSO, provisioning and governance.
• Hands-on development proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, Python and PowerShell, including production-grade automation and integrations.
• Comfort and skill with Terraform, CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Knowledge of Okta Identity Governance, including access certifications, entitlement management, RBAC and ABAC.
• Familiarity with Okta and Auth0 public APIs and development SDKs.
• Hands-on experience in large, enterprise-scale IAM environments, including workflows and scripting against public APIs.
• Knowledge of advanced Okta capabilities such as Okta Workflows, Okta Identity Governance and Okta Access Gateway. Okta certifications are a plus.
• Understanding of modern cybersecurity threats and how a successful IAM program helps an enterprise mitigate them.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic, large-scale environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and quality.
