Job summary

Sweco Design Center Poland, part of Sweco Group, seeks a senior structural designer with 5+ years in reinforced concrete design for bridges and large-scale infrastructure.

Join multidisciplinary teams, perform FE modeling, and work with Midas Civil, Mathcad, Robot Structural Analysis, and IDEA StatiCa. Hybrid work is available in Poland; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of detailed structural design experience in reinforced concrete for bridges.
• Proficient use of structural engineering software: Midas Civil, Mathcad, Robot Structural Analysis, IDEA StatiCa.
• Experience with Finite Element modeling and analysis.
• Good English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design bridges, tunnels, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and design documentation.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Responsibilities:

• Design of bridges, tunnels and large scale infrastructure projects;
• Preparation of technical calculations, reports, and design documentation;
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers;
• Review of design drawings and technical specifications;
• Application of industry standards and best practices in bridges and tunnel.

Our requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in detailed structural design of reinforced concrete structures, including both new construction projects and rehabilitation/remodeling of existing bridges;
• Practical knowledge of structural engineering software such as Midas Civil / Mathcad / Robot Structural Analysis / IDEA StatiCa;
• Proven experience in Finite Element (FE) modeling and analysis;
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
