Job summary
Sweco Design Center Poland is seeking experienced civil/structural engineers to design tunnels and underground structures. You will prepare calculations and documentation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and review drawings to ensure adherence to standards.
The role emphasizes strong English communication and hands-on design with advanced software. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in tunnel projects, reinforced concrete expertise, and familiarity with Mathcad/Robot/Plaxis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of tunnel and underground structure design experience.
- Experience in detailed, structural design of reinforced concrete for new or remodeled structures.
- Proficiency with Mathcad, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis or Plaxis.
- Good English communication (written and spoken).
- Nice to have: Grasshopper, Tekla, Microstation.
Responsibilities
- Design tunnels, including drilled, cut-and-cover, and underground structures.
- Prepare technical calculations, reports, and design documentation.
- Collaborate with geotechnical, civil engineers and project managers.
- Review design drawings and technical specifications.
- Apply industry standards and best practices for tunnel design.
