Job summary

Sweco Design Center Poland is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join its international BIM team and contribute to major road and infrastructure projects in Poland. You will maintain CAD and BIM models, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure model accuracy and documentation.

The role requires 2+ years in BIM coordination, strong English communication, and proficiency with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other BIM tools. Hybrid work is available for several Polish cities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in BIM coordination within infrastructure design projects.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets and delivery processes.
• Excellent knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Be an integrated part of the international BIM team, participating in coordination meetings.
• Update, review, and maintain CAD models and BIM coordination models across disciplines.
• Perform QA checks on BIM models and resolve modelling issues.
• Maintain documentation of model updates and project changes.
• Support implementation of new BIM workflows and digital collaboration tools.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Responsibilities:

• Be an integrated part of the international swedish BIM team, actively participating in coordination meetings to identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues;
• Update, review, and maintain CAD models and BIM coordination models, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all project disciplines;
• Perform regular quality assurance checks on BIM models and resolve technical issues related to modeling and software;
• Maintain detailed documentation of model updates, revisions, and project changes;
• Manage the implementation of new BIM workflows, software updates, and digital collaboration tools.

What type of projects will you work with?

You will join a team of BIM, information, and data coordination specialists delivering major road and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on the railway sector.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
• 2+ years of experience in BIM coordination within infrastructure design projects, including an understanding of project schedules, budgets, and delivery processes;
• Technical understanding of construction processes, engineering documentation, and 3D modeling, with good knowledge of BIM software such as Navisworks, iTwin, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Microsoft Excel, and similar tools;
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good to have: Knowledge of automation tools and scripting, such as FME or PowerShell.
