Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. z o. o. seeks a Production Process Engineer for the Body Shop in Jawor. You will ensure stable, high-performance joining processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to sustain top quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in automotive BIW/Body Shop, a solid grasp of SPC, lean principles, and strong problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on, data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Production, or Automation/Robotics.
• 2–3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience, preferably in Body Shop/BIW.
• Strong knowledge of joining technologies and technical drawings.
• Experience with data-driven process control (SPC) and analytical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Structured, solution-oriented thinking and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable, high-performance production processes meeting cycle times and quality targets.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support installation, ramp-up, and commissioning of advanced production systems.
• Develop and refine process standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance process stability and product quality.
• Analyze production and quality data to derive insights for performance management.
