Job summary

Sweco Design Center Poland in Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, or Olsztyn offers a role as an Electrical BIM Designer supporting Danish-led projects across Europe. You will model electrical systems in Revit and contribute to pharma facilities design.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field, 5+ years' experience with Revit/BIM, and strong English communication. Hybrid work options are available within Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position with Revit and BIM modeling in electrical design.
• Ability to create buildable electrical design solutions.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with accommodating scope changes.
• Very good English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Danish team on projects related to building installations, pharmaceutical facilities, and electrical utilities.
• Create and model in Revit for electrical systems.
• Participate in pharmaceutical industry projects during design and construction phases.
• Adapt projects in response to scope changes and installations during construction.
• Work in an environment with dynamic project changes and installations.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Danish team on projects related to building installations, pharmaceutical facilities, electrical utility companies;
• Creating and modeling in Revit in the electrical field;
• Participating in projects related to the pharmaceutical industry, both during the design phase and during construction execution;
• Adapting projects in response to changes in scope and installations during the construction process;
• Working in an environment with dynamic changes in projects and installations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field;
• 5+ years of experience on similar position, working with Revit and strong expertise in BIM modeling within the electrical field;
• Understanding of the practical aspects of electrical design, demonstrating the ability to create buildable solutions;
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with familiarity in managing constant changes in project scope;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
