Job summary

Sweco Design Center Poland, a Sweco Group design unit, seeks a Civil Engineer with road engineering experience. You will design highways and streets, support road design documentation, and work with multi-disciplinary teams across Poland and the Swedish market.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of road experience, fluency in English, and familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D. BIM experience is a plus. Hybrid work in Poland is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of road engineering experience.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• BIM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design highways, roads, streets and land development projects for the Swedish market.
• Support in road design documentation according to project requirements and standards.
• Design a variety of road engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Assist senior engineers to deliver design tasks on time and within budget.
• Collaborate on reports, proposals and presentations as needed.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Responsibilities:

• Working on the design of highways, roads, streets,and land development projects of all sizes on the Swedish market:
• Support in the preparation of road design documentation by project requirements and standards;
• Design a variety of road engineering projects from conception through to completion;
• Assist senior engineers in delivering design tasks within schedule and budget;
• Collaborate on the preparation of reports, proposals and presentations as needed.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
• Minimum 2 years of expertise in road engineering;
• Proficiency in road design software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment;
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
• Good to have: experience in BIM.
