Job summary

Nexun in Poland is seeking an Electricity Market Analyst to lead the commercial development, negotiation, and optimization of Battery Energy Storage System projects, including standalone and co-located PV+BESS. You will identify value, forecast revenues, and design robust offtake strategies across European markets, with a focus on Poland.

You will build revenue models, run scenario analyses, and collaborate with Development, Engineering and Finance to maximize project value while managing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy Economics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial or offtake origination, PPA/tolling negotiation, route-to-market, or energy trading.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience with electricity markets and BESS or renewables preferred.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; Python or Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of European electricity markets, focusing on Poland.
• Forecast revenues for standalone BESS and co-located PV+BESS projects using market data and scenarios.
• Evaluate route-to-market options (merchant, tolling, PPA) to maximize project value.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering and Finance to align design and commercialization.
• Build revenue models and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses.
