SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA in Warsaw invites a software developer to join the Origination program. You will contribute to feature development, documentation, and support for the Origination Platform, working in a client-centric, autonomous team aligned with digital transformation goals.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience, expertise in Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot and Angular, plus SQL. English is required; French is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.

• Interest in the banking domain and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and participate in new projects for the Origination platform.
• Adhere to Craftsmanship and DevOps practices and maintain documentation.
• Share knowledge within the program community and provide L3 production support when needed.
• Engage in SCRUM ceremonies with 2-week sprints and continuous learning.
• Collaborate across hexagonal architecture, QA, and operations teams.

Job description

Responsibilities

Do you want to join client centric teams, work on innovative projects based on new technologies, apply dev craftmanship practices within a stimulating, kind and digital environment? Join the Origination program! The aim of this program is to ease the origination process of deals for the structured finance department. It includes structuration of the deals, their pricing, the management of all regulatory processes as well as addressing reporting needs that help Front Officers take their decision. There are 6 teams working on Origination program. These teams are client centric and are fully autonomous feature teams working on the same application (Origination Platform), each with their own backlog. We follow Agile SCRUM methodology. Within the team, your mission will mainly consist of developing new features, conducting new projects and ensuring support activities on web application aligned with digital transformation principles of the Société Générale Group.

• Developing new features: conception, development, testing, deployment
• Respecting Crafmanship & DevOps practices
• Creating and maintaining documentation
• Sharing knowledge within program community
• Providing L3 support in production, fixing bugs and enhancing existing features
• Following, attending and participating in SCRUM ceremonies – Sprint of 2 weeks

Technical Stack
