SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA in Warsaw seeks a Structured Solutions Middle Office Analyst to join a brand-new team taking over part of the responsibilities and collaborating with Paris-based colleagues. The role covers deal life-cycle oversight, closing phases, and regulatory controls.

You will work with Excel to manage invoicing, leasing/loans flows, and treasury operations for subsidiaries and SPVs, while engaging with a multilingual, international team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a back/middle office in a bank or leasing/mobility-related industry.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deals' pre-closing, closing and post-closing phases with the closing team.
• Manage all components of lease invoicing and payments.
• Manage leases/loans related flows, treasury of subsidiaries and SPVs.
• Handle other events in the loan/lease life cycle.
• Monitor Risk Weighted Assets for deals in the portfolio.
• Oversee administrative tasks (covenants, lease registrations, powers).
• Prepare and deliver internal and external reports.
• Update and create departmental procedures.

Responsibilities

The Structured Solutions and Mobility Team specializes in Loans, Leasing, and Structured Solutions, its Middle Office is a cross-location team. Main mission of the team is to oversee the deal life cycle management by supporting the closing phases, managing loan and lease events as well as handling SPV, subsidiary treasury functions and reporting. Furthermore, the Structured Solutions Middle Office Analysts ensure regulatory compliance by monitoring risk-weighted assets and performing first-level controls. Warsaw will become a new point on the SSM Team’s map as we are building a brand-new team to take over part of the responsibilities and collaborate with Paris-based colleagues.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover

• Participating in deals’ pre-closing, closing and post-closing phases in collaboration with the closing team
• Managing all components of lease invoicing and payments
• Managing leases/loans-related flows, treasury of subsidiaries and SPVs
• Managing other events related to the life cycle of the loans/leases
• Monitoring Risk Weighted Asset for the deals in portfolio
• Monitoring some administrative tasks related to the deals (covenants, lease registrations, powers, ...)
• Reporting (internally and externally)
• Updating and creating departmental procedures

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

• You have worked in a back/ middle office in a bank or as an accountant in an industry related to mobility (ideally previous experience with leasing)
• You understand accounting principles
• You are a skilled Excel user (i.e. you can create and use pivot tables)
• You speak English very well (French is a big plus)
• You enjoy learning and using new technologies (such as AI)
• You like collaborating with others to achieve a common goal
• You are interested in complex financial structure and eager to deepen your knowledge
