ALTEN Polska in Kraków is seeking a Python web developer to join a market risk-focused team. You will design, develop and deliver software solutions, collaborating with Product Owner, Dev Lead, and cybersecurity experts.

The role emphasizes microservices, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD with Git. You will work in a hybrid model with regular office visits, contributing to secure, robust systems and expanding your automation and testing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Market Risk concepts and measures.
• Proficient in Python automation.
• Quick learner and independent—able to scale with project dynamics.
• Experience in Market Risk production or project roles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Development Lead to design, develop and deliver software solutions meeting stakeholder requirements.
• Work with Cybersecurity experts to refine requirements and deliver secure, iterative features.
• Adhere to team patterns and improve development efficiency by identifying bottlenecks.
• Follow governance for requirements intake, releases and incident management; contribute to automation.
• Ensure operability of existing services, handle L2/L3 troubleshooting, bug fixing, and write automated tests.
• Undertake peer reviews and mentor junior developers.
