Job summary

Grand Parade in Kraków is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality software within an agile Scrum team. You will own features from concept to production and mentor junior developers.

You will work on scalable and secure systems, ensure non-functional requirements, and collaborate on architecture while embracing a culture of continuous improvement. The role offers hybrid from home and office.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Python, MySQL and Linux
• Experience with Kafka/ActiveMQ or similar messaging platforms
• Familiarity with Docker and AWS in a cloud-based stack
• Knowledge of asynchronous libraries (Twisted/Tornado) and Redis

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, performant code in an agile Scrum team
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions
• Ensure non-functional requirements like scalability, monitoring, and security are met
• Lead technical discussions and own feature delivery end-to-end
• Functionally test code to support QA and production issue resolution
• Collaborate to understand system architecture and improve maintainability
