Job summary

MTU Aero Engines Polska Sp. z o.o in Rzeszów is seeking a Python Developer (W/M) to join the IT team. You will develop backend services with Django, design REST APIs, and contribute to system architecture while ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Responsibilities include working with PostgreSQL, optimizing queries, and assisting deployment in a Kubernetes environment. English fluency is required for collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Good understanding of REST API design principles.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Communicative English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Design and implement REST APIs and contribute to overall system architecture.
• Collaborate with the team on code quality, best practices, and technical decisions.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Support deployment processes in a Kubernetes environment (basic operational awareness).
• Participate in code reviews and ongoing improvements of the codebase.
