Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer in Kraków to design, build, and maintain large-scale data solutions on Microsoft Azure.

The role focuses on developing robust data pipelines and Lakehouse architectures using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage, while managing and governing the Power BI platform, including workspaces, capacities, gateways and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years in Data & Analytics with 5+ years on Microsoft Azure data engineering.
• Experience in Power BI administration: tenant settings, workspace/capacity management, gateways, deployment pipelines, licensing, usage monitoring.
• Experience implementing Power BI security and governance, including RLS, access management, sensitivity labels, Azure AD integration.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, Lakehouse/Medallion architecture, ETL/ELT patterns, performance tuning.
• Ability to guide project team and clients, delivering quality solutions on time.
• Experience with CI/CD for data solutions using Azure DevOps or GitHub, with version control and release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise-scale data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
• Lead Lakehouse architectures using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Govern Power BI platform including workspaces, gateways and security; drive deployment processes.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
