Job summary

Accenture Krakow is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design and implement scalable data warehousing and analytics solutions using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Fabric. You will work with data engineers, scientists, and cloud architects to deliver end‑to‑end data platform projects.

The role emphasizes governance, security, performance, and cost optimization while supporting modernization for clients across industries. Permanent contract and robust training are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience designing and implementing data platforms in Azure and Databricks, including performance tuning and security setup.
• Proven experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, data modeling, and ELT/ETL design patterns.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud‑based data warehousing and analytics solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Define best practices for data governance, security, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end data platform solutions.
• Advise clients on modernization strategies and migration from on‑premises databases.
• Support pre‑sales activities, including estimation and proofs‑of‑concept.
