Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Poland is seeking a Data & AI Solution Architect to design enterprise-scale solutions using Azure Databricks and modern lakehouse technologies. You will blend architecture leadership with hands-on delivery to build secure, scalable platforms aligned with business goals.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in data or AI architecture, expertise in dimensional modelling, data governance, and strong stakeholder management, plus fluent English and willingness to work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data, Solution or AI Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with dimensional modelling, conformed models and SCD patterns.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog, data governance and security design.
• Understanding of analytics, semantic layers and Databricks SQL.
• Experience producing architecture documentation, including HLDs, LLDs and ADRs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English and availability to work on-site in Gdańsk or Wrocław.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions using Azure Databricks and lakehouse technologies.
• Lead architecture decisions while delivering hands-on technical work to build secure, scalable platforms.
• Create and maintain HLDs, LLDs and ADRs and establish architecture guidelines.
• Design analytics, semantic layers and AI-ready data solutions for business users.
• Define platform governance, FinOps and cost-optimization approaches.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation.
