Job summary

Euroclear in Kraków is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve modern cloud-based data solutions supporting Euroclear's business domains. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects and engineers to deliver scalable data products for reporting, analytics and future AI initiatives.

You will leverage Azure Databricks, Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures, implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines with Python and SQL, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in cloud data platforms.
• Strong development skills in Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and data modeling.
• Nice to have: Scala and streaming data experience.
• Proven track record on Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data solutions on Azure and Databricks.
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Develop data products for ingestion, transformation, validation, and distribution.
• Implement batch and streaming workflows with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote code quality, monitoring and reliability.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects and product owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
