Job summary

Procter & Gamble seeks a hands-on Senior Databricks Platform Engineer to operate and evolve our data and AI platform on Azure Databricks. You will evaluate features, govern adoption, and turn capabilities into secure configurations and guardrails for scalable use.

You will build reusable agent skills, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service tools, partnering with security and product teams to ensure compliant, cost-aware operations across the platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Azure Databricks experience with workspace administration and cost management.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for analyzing platform logs.
• Experience with REST APIs, Terraform and Azure networking (Private Endpoints, vNETs).
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Databricks features, conduct proofs of concept, and assess security implications.
• Develop reusable configurations and agent skills for platform users.
• Build pipelines and automate administration for Databricks configurations.
• Create governance guardrails and self-service tools for teams to enable capabilities.
• Collaborate with Security to review capabilities and implement access controls.
• Analyze Databricks system data to drive platform improvements and cost insights.
• Manage platform operations including monitoring, governance, and best practices.
