Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design and build modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, integrating enterprise data sources and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities include developing enterprise data solutions on Azure, ensuring data availability for reporting and analytics, and mentoring junior engineers while staying current with Azure technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platforms.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
Scripting/automation experience with PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Fluent Polish and residing in Poland.

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade data solutions on Azure.
Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, and sales.
Design scalable, secure data architectures using Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
Create data models and schemas to support business needs.
Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost.
Ensure Azure security best practices and compliance.
Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
