Job summary

Addepto is seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner to join a senior delivery team modernizing a critical aviation platform. You’ll bridge business needs with technical design, translate requirements into a backlog, and collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver value.

The role combines business analysis with product ownership, emphasizing data, integrations, and APIs, while ensuring availability, performance, and auditability in complex systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in BA, PO, or systems analysis on modernization or integration projects.
• Proven ability to reconstruct As-Is, To-Be processes and design target state.
• Able to read code (Java/Spring) and write SQL to verify logic.
• Strong BPMN and data-flow modelling skills.
• Experience documenting requirements and backlog with clear acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing solutions by reading code and data to reverse-engineer rules.
• Map current processes through interviews and artifact reviews.
• Produce As-Is documentation and gap analysis.
• Design To-Be processes for the modernized platform with monitoring.
• Define portals, user journeys, and functional specs with APIs dependencies.
• Own the product backlog and prioritize epics and stories.
• Run workshops with client stakeholders and ensure non-functional needs.
• Support UAT and prepare training materials.
