HSBC Poland seeks an IT professional to own end-to-end IT solutions for private banking initiatives using Avaloq. You’ll ensure compliance, drive operational stability, and partner with architects to align with target architectures.

Strong PL/SQL and Unix scripting skills are required, plus DevOps experience and English proficiency. The role emphasizes delivering robust IT solutions that meet customer needs, maintain controls, and continuously improve with structured testing by Test Engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Private Banking Domain/Investment Banking/Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience with Avaloq (or comparable platforms).
• Strong scripting capability, including PL/SQL.
• Ability to understand user requirements and provide solutions using Avaloq Parameterization with Unix scripts and Control-M.
• Strong analysis, design, coding and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience across the delivery lifecycle; Agile and DevOps familiar.

Responsibilities

• Own a product or service end-to-end, shaping and delivering IT solutions across the customer journey.
• Ensure group controls are maintained and remediation is resolved swiftly.
• Maintain operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services.
• Drive pod performance, aligning with benchmark objectives.
• Partner with Solution Architect to align solutions with architectures and systems.
• Define and document solutions with structured analysis techniques.
• Validate proposed solutions with business and technical teams.
• Provide recommendations on technical and business suitability.
