We are seeking a seasoned Technology Leader to lead Avaloq engineering teams and deliver end-to-end outcomes. The Engineering Lead will report to the Head of Engineering, Banking Platform, and drive recruitment, governance and capability building. We expect deep Avaloq expertise, strong Agile/DevOps delivery, and hands-on engineering mindset to shape architecture and satellite interfaces.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise across Avaloq, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of the Private Banking domain and related functions.
• Hands-on engineering mindset with Avaloq platform details.
• Scripting with PL/SQL; Unix and Control-M familiarity.
• System engineering background for evaluating options against business needs.
• Demonstrated delivery of sustainable changes improving business effectiveness.
• Clear, confident English communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to guide stakeholders through complex technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Avaloq deliveries for stream and oversee end to end Avaloq development lifecycle.
• Ensure code quality, documentation and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address end-to-end delivery using Agile and DevOps.
• Support in recruitment, talent management, retention, risk control and governance.
• Partner with Head of Engineering Banking Platform on location strategy for Avaloq workforce.
• Identify risks and ensure governance, trainings and controls are followed by the team.
• Drive automation strategy with Test manager.
• Mature Agile practices and collect metrics for release frequency and quality.
