HSBC Service Delivery Polska Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a seasoned Avaloq Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end Avaloq delivery for the Private Banking platform.

You will lead global engineering teams and report to the Head of Engineering, Banking Platform. The ideal candidate has deep Avaloq expertise, strong Agile/DevOps background, hands-on PL/SQL and Unix experience, and a proven leadership track. You will mentor engineers, manage risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Deep expertise across Avaloq, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and team leadership.
• Hands-on engineering mindset: work with Avaloq platform details and contribute to architecture.
• Solid scripting with PL/SQL; familiarity with Unix and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Avaloq deliveries for stream and oversee end-to-end development lifecycle.
• Ensure code quality, documentation and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery using Agile and DevOps.
• Support recruitment, talent management and governance within the team.
• Partner with Head of Engineering to implement robust workforce strategy.
• Identify risks and ensure proper controls and governance.
• Drive automation strategy with Test Manager.
• Promote Agile maturity and measure release frequency and quality.
