Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an HV Safety Engineer (Expert) to own the high-voltage safety aspect of innovative eMobility hardware in Krakow. You will drive requirement analysis, design validation, and verification from concept to product, collaborating with validation and manufacturing engineering and leading customer reviews.

The role requires a Masters in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 5 years in automotive electronics, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronics or e-Mobility (Hardware).
• Experience with HV safety compliance is an advantage (LV123, MBN 11123, etc.).
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and resolve problems across functions.

Responsibilities

• Capture and analyze product requirements for HV safety.
• Derive design requirements for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Lead reviews with customers on HV safety requirements and verification.
• Develop HV safety verification plan and test setups.
• Coordinate with validation, manufacturing, and cross-regional teams.
