Job summary

Wipro, a global technology company, seeks an Automation Engineer (Python testing) for its hybrid role in Gdansk. You will run and extend automated tests, maintain test cases, and report on automation status, contributing to robust software validation across client projects.

Qualifications

• Experience writing Python scripts or applications for automation
• Strong ability to maintain and extend test suites and test cases
• Nice to have Agentic AI development experience or related AI tooling

Responsibilities

• Run test suites and develop new automated test cases
• Maintain and update test cases and test suites
• Investigate issues and track test case defects
• Report status of automated tests and suites
• Create and refine test guides and automation documentation
• Set up and configure tool environments and deploy tests safely

Automation Engineer (Python testing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Run test suites, develop new automated test cases, and commit code which is a solution to targeted automation validation tasks
• Test Case Maintenance
• Tracking and analysing current test cases
• Investigating issues & maintaining existing test case issues
• Reporting status automated test cases and test suites
• Test Case Development
• Consume test case documentation and development of new automation features, or implementation of new test cases
• Extending existing test functionalities
• Leverage existing AI tools and functionality to assist in development
• Tools deployment
• Setup & configuration of tool environment
• Safe deployment of new tests/versions without interfering with internal activities & commitments
• Day-to-day support / test suite running
• Extending existing test suite functionalities
• Deploying improvements to automation workflows
• Project documentation
• Automation guides
• Test guides
• Test Suite Reports

Experience/Tools:

• Required: Python script and/or application development
• Nice to have: Agentic AI Development Experience, MS Tools
