Job summary

Wipro Technologies in Warsaw is seeking an experienced Java professional to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and REST APIs within an Agile environment. The role emphasizes building robust microservices and modern containerized architectures.

You will drive implementation of RESTful services, leverage CI/CD, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Hybrid work arrangement and a B2B contract are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Java technologies.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST, and Spring framework.
• Experience with API development and security standards.
• Experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL).
• Experience with microservices and containers orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and SCM tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins).
• Strong communication and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of overall work experience in Java related tech stack
• Proficient in Java/J2EE/REST technologies and frameworks like Spring, Sprint MVC, JPA, Hibernate
• Experience in API Development for producers and consumers adhering to all standards for security and reliability.
• Experience in database such as Oracle, MYSQL and any of the NOSQL
• Experience in Microservice architecture, Containers Orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker etc.,)
• Experience in software configuration management with tools development, automation (GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, CI/CD etc.,)
• Experience in logging tools such as Splunk, Humio, etc., for Monitoring and Issue triage
• Ability to write clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience developing as part of Agile/Scrum team
• Experience developing using AI tools like Claude / Cline or any other AI tool
• Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java-based applications and services.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices while ensuring security, reliability, and performance standards are met.
• Build and support distributed systems using modern architecture principles, including containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and production support activities.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and software development best practices.
• Monitor application performance, analyse logs, and perform issue triage using monitoring tools.
• Ensure high-quality code delivery through unit testing, code quality checks, and adherence to coding standards.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and accelerate software development.
• Take ownership of deliverables and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle.
