Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Build and enhance REST APIs and microservices following security and industry best practices.
• Contribute to application enhancements, feature development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and performant code.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical evaluations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support application stability through monitoring and analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve development standards, processes, and engineering practices.

• Deliver solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment while meeting quality and timeline expectations.

Key Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Java development and enterprise application engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, REST API development, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience designing and developing secure, reliable, and scalable APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Humio, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, and clean code principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong focus on quality, accountability, and delivering high-performance, defect-free solutions.
