Job summary

Umicore, a global advanced materials and recycling group, invites students or recent graduates to join the Battery Materials Solutions team at the Nysa plant. You will assist in implementing the Shopfloor Platform, perform functional tests, verify interfaces and data flows, and help troubleshoot issues in an industrial setting.

We expect interest in automation and PLC systems, basic Siemens PLC knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Student or recent graduate in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, CS or Electrical Engineering.
Interest in industrial automation, PLC systems and software testing.
Analytical mindset and good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support the project team in the Shopfloor Platform implementation at the Nysa plant.
Perform functional testing of applications and implemented solutions.
Verify interfaces, data flows and system integrations.
Document defects in a structured way and report them.
Assist validation in the OT environment including interfaces and sequences.
Support activities related to industrial automation and PLC platforms.
Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
