Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Assistant Controller - Manager in Lodz, Poland, to strengthen controllership within the Global Finance CoE. You will support Controllers in ensuring accurate financial records and a strong internal control environment across assigned entities.

The role involves coordinating month-end close, balance sheet reviews, IFRS reporting, audits, and collaboration with FP&A, tax, treasury, and group consolidation teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of controllership/Record-to-Report experience.
• Experience with statutory reporting and audits.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and international experience.
• Fluent business English.

Responsibilities

• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end closes across entities.
• Prepare balance sheet reviews and variance analysis.
• Assist with IFRS and local GAAP financial statements.
• Coordinate audits and internal controls.
• Collaborate with global finance teams and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX where applicable.
